Do you think if you ate healthier foods it would be easier for you lose weight? Of course it would! So why don't you do it?
Your problem is not a lack of knowledge. You already know you should not be eating pizza, fried foods, and sugary junk food if you want to lose weight. You already know you should be eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking more water if you want to lose weight.
Your problem is a lack of execution and follow through.
The only reason you don't eat healthier foods is because you think they are bland, boring, or inconvenient relative to the unhealthy, junk, and snack foods you're now accustomed to eating.
But if you could find a way to look at an apple the same way you look at a piece of double chocolate cake, do you think you would eat more fruit? Of course you would!
Do you think if you could retrain your mind to look at a salad the same way you look at a slice of pizza it would be easier for you to lose weight? Of course it would!
These type of mental change is possible, but only if you are willing to change your mindset (eating mindset).
Now I'm not saying you need to stop eating cake and pizza to lose weight. But what I am saying is that if you change your mindset, and change you think and feel about cake and pizza, you can reduce and even eliminate your cravings for unhealthy junk foods that are keeping you overweight and increase your appreciation for healthier alternatives that will help you lose weight and keep it off.
These type of changes are not short-term diet changes, instead they are fundamental lifestyle changes you can continue for years to come with the right mindset.
